Commercial photography for rebrand of Canon Electronics website

Photography for Canon Electronics website re-brand

Visiting factories all over Japan, shooting staff, technology and facilities, it continues to be a lot of fun working on this project.

For over a year now, I’ve been working with two agencies in Tokyo on shooting visuals for the re-brand of Canon Electronics’s website.

The job is ongoing but has so far taken me to numerous Canon facilities, in Gunma, Saitama and Tokyo. Shooting everything from mini-satellites to document scanners, bar-code readers to apple farms, PCB production-lines to robotic lettuce cultivation rooms… and lots more besides.

As well as all the tech, we’ve been shooting staff for a re-brand of the recruitment and HR pages of the website, the CDR sections and shareholder pages.

Here’s a few of the photos as they’ve appeared so far on the website.

When you get to the staff interview sections, mouse-over the pictures of each person and you’ll get two views of them.

And, no, I haven’t switched sides to Canon. All the work has been shot on Nikon and Hasselblad cameras 🙂
